Inside a space habitat in a parallel universe, spokesmodel Desa introduces InterMate, the new blind date reality game. Players travel to actual mini-universes via quantum manipulation, where they must find all the real players among simulated humans. The game culminates when mutual gestures trigger the Intermate, a euphoric sensory release that collapses the reality and returns the players to where they came from. Desa joins two other space habitat women, Lleva and Iastar in a four-player game.

A Reality Repairman is assigned by the Multiverse to disable Intermate, designated an unauthorized and dangerous technology. Instead, he hijacks the three women from their game reality to our Earth universe, where he will pose as the fourth player. Tricking or forcing one of the women into a two-player Intermate, Repairman can eradicate the Intermate game forever.

Believing they are in their game reality, the three women seek the fourth player to no avail, only to find a jogger, a rocker, a biker, and others vulnerable to the ecstatic Intermate effect. Repairman stalks them, interrupted by the owner of an escort service, who whisks the woman away to exploit their euphoric sensual Intermate talents with her clientele.

Repairman, improvising new strategies, but awkward with imperfect language programming, awakens Iastar’s suspicions and defenses. Her tough, sexy hooker chauffeur leaves him beaten and forcibly stoned.

Winding up confined and drugged in a mental ward, he calls the escort service, luring Lleva to help him escape.  A crazed debate follows over how to play the inter-dimensional game, until Lleva, mistrustful, runs away, Repairman in pursuit.

Iastar joins forces with Frank, a radio telescope supervisor who is unknowingly in possession of Repairman’s lost Multiverse meter, which enables Iastar to deduce his schemes. Desa tries to find Iastar, but dazed by a car crash, she’s detoured into the midst of a trio of punks.

All things get unhinged on an isolated hillside as Frank, Iastar, Lleva, and a cop try to thwart Repairman during an explosive Intermate. The now enamored couples find themselves in an alternate space habitat, holding the power to choose their own realities – any and all possibilities of the infinite Multiverse. The surprising fates of Desa and Repairman are then unveiled.
